Books and reviews

Several books are waiting for me to review. Two in particular entice me to put down what I'm doing and settle in for a good read.

One is Robert Fate's new change of pace book called "Kill the Gigolo." I love his Baby Shark books and am looking forward to reading this one - if only I could find the time.

The other book is an ARC (advance review copy) of Jennifer Chiaverini's book "The Union Quilters." I loved reading "The Cross Country Quilters" and "The Lost Quilter" and am more than ready to read this one. Jennifer puts her quilters into an historical moment. I like reading history from a quilter's standpoint.

I have more waiting, but these are the two that intrigue me the most. My stack of reading is high, but I love to read so it won't be a chore.

First, I must wish you all a Merry Christmas and charge off to do my social duty of enjoying friends and relatives and eating myself silly.
