Llamas and the llama mama

Well, here I am thinking of llamas. Woosi raises llamas and on the way home from her place I began thinking of a llama story. Llamas are intriguing beasts. They have big heavy bodies, long shaggy hair, tiny feet, and dainty heads with gorgeous eyes and a cute nose that looks like a cartoon. Just reading that description, you'd think I'd made it up. However, llamas are real and Woosi has a herd of them. Two are pregnant. I wish I could be there to see the babies.

Woosi also has two very white, long haired puppies that are bigger than most full grown dogs - well, not all, but usually big and fluffy doesn't go on a big dog. These dogs are sweet tempered and beautiful. They live with the llamas. When they're grown they will protect the llamas from all sorts of things. We saw them in action when a neighbor's dog came to check things out. The puppies were nearly as big as the dog, and they barked and carried on like crazy, finally convincing the dog (a lab) that he should go home. They should do all right when they're grown.

Well, that's it for tonight, but we'll be back soon to find out what we're going to write about.
